Continuamos el camino a Miss Universo 2017 con nuestra cobertura especial, llego el día de conocer a una bella joven, que desde hace más de 10 años tiene experiencia en el mundo del modelaje donde gano el Britain’s Next Top Model en 2010, complementándolo con su carrera de DJ, en esta ocasión tiene la responsabilidad de representar a su país: Malta, conozcamos a Tiffany Pisani, quien buscara darle la primera corona a Malta.
We are on way to Miss Universe 2017 and with our special issue, we are going to know our next contestant. Since 10 years ago she has had experience in model world and moreover, in 2010 she won Britain´s Next Top Model and all of that we have to add she has a DJ career. Now, she has the responsibility to be contestant of her country: Malta. Let´s go to know to Tiffany Pisani, who is looking to bring to Malta the first crown.
Socialiteen: Agradecemos el tiempo que brindas para esta entrevista, de igual forma felicitarte por ser la representante de tu país, para iniciar coméntanos ¿Cómo se describe Tiffany Pisani?
We thank you for the time and we want to congratulate you to become the contest of your country, we are going to start this interview and we would like you tell us how Tiffany Pisani could describe herself?
Tiffany Pisani: Muchas gracias a ustedes, me considero como una persona motivada, ambiciosa por lograr sus objetivos, cariñosa y muy trabajadora.
Thank you, I would like to think I am very ambitious , motivated , loving and hardworking but also a fiery.
Socialiteen: ¿Cuáles consideras son tus habilidades? / What are your abilities and weaknesses?
Tiffany Pisani: Las principales habilidades serian que puedo trabajar bajo presión y ser profesional, pero también soy muy dura conmigo misma cuando se trata de alcanzar metas.
I am able to work under high pressure and stay professional but I am also very hard on myself
when it comes to achieving goals .
Socialiteen: En el medio sin duda debes de tener un personaje a seguir, ¿Quién consideras seria tu inspiración? / Who is your role model and why?
Tiffany Pisani: Sin duda es Elle Macpherson, una modelo y actriz australiana que cambió mi vida y es una mujer increíble que ha alcanzado sus sueños.
Elle Macpherson she changed my life and she is an incredible woman
Socialiteen: Personalmente ¿Cuáles consideras tus pasatiempos? / What are your hobbies?
Tiffany Pisani: Los principales escuchar música, viajar, además practicar deportes, crecí junto al mar y siempre me ha encantado todo lo que tiene que ver con el agua, pero especialmente la navegación, también tengo habilidades como DJ, así que me gusta igual prepararme en esta profesión ya que tiene mucho que ver con la práctica y más práctica.
I grew up by the sea and have always loved anything that has to do with water but especially Sailing, Sailing , music , travelling

Socialiteen: Nos comentas que te gusta mucho viajar, ¿Cuál es tu lugar favorito y por qué? / What is your favorite place and why?
Tiffany Pisani: En primer lugar, amo a mi país de origen, Malta, muchos sitios me encantan, pero uno de los mejores lugares que visité fue en realidad Tulum en México, me pareció mágico, tiene muchas similitudes con mi país de origen, pero también con las junglas y las playas absolutamente increíbles, realmente me gustaría tener la oportunidad de volver allí algún día.
First of all I do love my home country of Malta but one of the best places I ever visited was actuallyTulum in Mexico. It does have a lot of similarities with my home country but also the jungles and
the absolutely amazing beaches. I really wish I get the chance to go back there one day.
Socialiteen: Introduciéndonos al tema, nos gustaría conocer ¿Cómo fue tu entrada a los certámenes de belleza? / How was your approach to beauty pageant?
Tiffany Pisani: A mí siempre me ha gustado modelar, de hecho gane el “Britain’s Next Top Model” in October 2010, ese momento me había llamado la atención poder representar a mi país en un certamen de belleza, además de sacar mi mejor versión, sé que algunas personas piensan que el concepto no está actualizado, pero gracias a esa atención y reflectores que ganas en un certamen, puedes ser un modelo a seguir y ayudar a la sociedad en problemáticas.
Socialiteen: ¿Cuáles son los momentos que te han marcado hasta ahora? / What are the moments have marked you so far?
Tiffany Pisani: Uno de los principales seria ganar “Britain’s Next Top Model” cambió mi vida, pero me gusta creer que todavía soy la misma persona, definitivamente me dio muchas oportunidades para viajar por el mundo mientras hacía el trabajo que realmente amaba en ese momento de mi vida.
Sin embargo, una de las experiencias más cambiantes que he tenido es el festival del hombre ardiente que he asistido dos veces. Realmente predica la alegría de dar y carbonizar a los demás. La forma que la gente simplemente se ama y se cuida unos a otros es algo que el mundo necesita más. Fue cuando volví de mi primer «burn” que supe que quería dedicar mi vida a ayudar gente.
Winning britain’s next top model changed my life but I like to believe that i’m still the same person I was before I entered that competition. It definitely gave me a lot of opportunities however to travel the world while doing the job I really loved at that point in my life.
One of the most life changing experiences I have had however is the burning man festival that I have attended twice. It really preaches the joy of giving and charring with others. The way that people just love and take care of each other is something that the world needs more of.
It was when I returned from my first “burn” that I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to helping people.
Socialiteen: ¿Cómo fue el camino para poder representar a la belleza de Malta en Miss Universo? / How did you begin the beauty contestant in Miss Universe?
Tiffany Pisani: He estado modelando por más de 10 años y aunque tenía la edad adecuada para asumir la responsabilidad de un título así me apunté a él, Jeff Francalansa y Alan Sicluna son los organizadores en Malta, ellos me ayudaron mucho y claro estoy muy agradecida por la confianza, es una gran responsabilidad para representar a mi país y espero poder darle a la gente la mejor imagen que Malta merece.
I have been modelling for over 10 years and though I was at the right age to take responsibility of such a title so enrolled myself to it , Jeff Francalansa and Alan Sicluna are the organisors in Malta who helped and I am very grateful.
Socialiteen: ¿Cómo has estado entrenando para el rendimiento en el concurso? / How have you been training to performance in the contest?
Tiffany Pisani: La preparación ha sido muy fuerte, voy al gimnasio frecuentemente, la principal una alimentación sana y balanceada, leo y estudio mucho, pero me gusta creer que se trata más de solo siendo quien eres.
I do go to the gym frequently , eat healthy , read and study but I like to believe that it’s more about just being who you are.
Socialiteen: Actualmente ¿Cómo valoras la belleza de la mujer en la sociedad? / How do you value women´s beauty?
Tiffany Pisani: Es una pregunta difícil, no quiero que la gente me defina por mi aspecto, entonces de nuevo sería bastante ingenuo no pensar que mi carrera como modelo o mis posibilidades en Miss Universo se verán afectados por mejor o peor por miradas. Por mucho que se vea un cliché, sin embargo, viene desde dentro, desde tener confianza en lo que eres y amarte a ti mismo, eso va para hombres y mujeres.
It’s a tough question, I don’t want people to define me by my looks, then again it would be quite naive not to think that my career as a model or my chances in miss universe will be affected for better or worse by looks. As much as it is a cliche looks does however come from within, from being confident in who you are and by loving yourself, that goes for both men and women.
Socialiteen: ¿Qué esperas de Miss Universo? / What do you expect from Miss Universe?
Tiffany Pisani: Espero encontrar muchas nuevas personas interesantes de todas partes del mundo y estoy seguro de que lograre aprender algo de todos y cada uno de ellos.
I expect to meet a lot of new interesting people from all parts of the world and I’m confident I will learn something from each and every one of them.
Socialiteen: ¿Qué harías si te nombraran Miss Universo? / What would you do if you were named Miss Universe 2017?
Tiffany Pisani: Probablemente me desmayaría primero, pero luego haría todo lo posible para estar a la altura de la misión de la Miss Universo y hacer mi parte para hacer del mundo un lugar mejor.
I would probably faint first off all but then I would do my best to live up to the mission of miss universe and do my part in making the world a better place.
Socialiteen: ¿Qué planes tienes después de participar en Miss Universo? / What plans do you have after participating in Miss Universe 2017?
Tiffany Pisani: Deseo continuar mi carrera de Dj musical, prepararme y practicar más, para tal vez hacer un concierto en México (comenta entre risas)
I wish to continue my Dj/ music career, maybe do a gig in Mexico 🙂
Socialiteen: Agradecemos tu tiempo, para cerrar la entrevista ¿Qué recomendarías a las jóvenes que desean participar en certámenes de belleza o en pasarela? / Any message you want to give our readers and your followers?
Tiffany Pisani: Lo principal seria cuidarse, para esta profesión se debe estar sano, alimentarse bien, ser positivo porque es muy difícil, siempre habrá dificultades pero no hay que rendirse, pero sobre todo representar y ser fiel a sí mismo.
